Mike and I had planned several shows in January 2008, updates to stories first aired in 2005 and 2006. The investigative ground we were going to go public with was substantial.
After his funeral in April, I had decided on this site (4acloserlook.wordpress.com) as a place to put some of our last show material – so that it wouldn’t detract from the intent of the rememberingmichael memorial site.
To be sure, there is far more material regarding the stories I brought to Mike’s 4 A Closer Look. For the benefit of his supporters and listeners, some of the stories planned for 2008 belong here. Others will be placed on a DVD production effort, as discussed in Denver in April.
The vast body of additional material I brought to Mike is currently under wraps at other sites – which will be made available for public access in the near future. The risk savvy among you may be interested in the Risky Business Magazine print publication.
There will never be another Michael Corbin, and in my opinion, his 4acloserlook.com website died with him. There are many reasons for that, not the least of which has to do with the unseemly hordes picking over the spoils of his sudden death, folk who couldn’t wait to get their hands on the deadly secrets, legally private data trusted to Mike Corbin and only Mike Corbin.
Guests on Mike’s show who entrusted him with this data were subject to an information plunder that would make vultures weep with envy. The Denver PD is on some level aware of this.
On that score, his enemies, many of whom got too close to him, have won. For now.
This site closes some information loops I feel need to closed, in his memory and so that his loyal listeners – those who ponied up hard-earned money to keep him on air – may benefit. It’s just a stop gap measure…
